50th Anniversary Card - Hungarian

I knew it was my husband's parents anniversary. What I had forgotten was to calculate how long they had been married before wishing them a happy anniversary! "Fiftieth!" his mom replied. "It's our fiftieth anniversary!" Wow, yes that made sense because it was 10 years since my husband and I were married and they had their 40th anniversary. So task at hand - how to create a special 50th anniversary card? The great thing about creating your own cards is that you can personalize it. So when creating this special card, I decided to add the wording in the language that my in-laws are most familiar with - Hungarian. It's a great way to connect and learn a little of a new language yourself. I used the translator on the internet and my husband's proofreading to ensure it made sense. I'm very happy with the way it turned out!

Mother's Day Cards

Mother's Day! - Usually a tough day for me since I lost my mom when I was 32. She was my best friend. Card Stores are the toughest place to go on occasions like this when you have lost a loved one. Putting these emotions aside for a bit, I decided to create a card for my mother-in-law. I thoroughly enjoyed making it as much as she seemed to appreciate it!

Easter Cards

At Christmas time, I had decided to send everyone I know a Christmas card.  Don't generally send Christmas cards but love it when I get them from others and thought it was time to actually send some out.  The response I got back was amazing.  I received so many cards and those that I hadn't heard from in a long time wanted to get in touch.  So it was a lot of fun.  I decided to start creating more cards.  I only sent out a few at Easter time but I enjoyed every minute of it - making every card personal.  So here I start my journey...

Starting a blog

Today is the day!  Today is the day I start to create a blog.  Why?  Because I enjoy reading others blogs - especially those who have created cards and other multimedia designed projects.  I hope you enjoy reading mine and please post a comment and a link to your blog so I can see what you have created today.

Creating is the best thing for your mind - so create a little every day...and sprinkle it with love!
